Sunny and Cloudy
Once upon a time, there was a leader of clouds named Cloudy. It was rainy season and Cloudy was minding her own business. She was letting out water droplets.
Suddenly, she heard a small voice beneath her.
"Rain rain, go away, come again another day. Little Krisha wants to play, come again another day."
The little girl chanted incessantly.
Cloudy felt bad. He had never been rejected like this before. He stopped his work and asked his friend Sunny for advice.
Sunny: Cloudy, what's up?
Cloudy: Today, I have been rejected. Somebody told me to go away. I feel so bad now.
Sunny: Cloudy, this is a part of our job. Some people will not like us, but we'll have to continue to be. Please don't take the person's words to heart.
Cloudy: I don't know if I want to go back to Earth now. I'll be here. Please take my place.
Sunny: Okay Cloudy. As you say.
So the sun took the clouds' place and Sunny shined his light everywhere on Earth. Soon the Earth began drying up and plants died. No water was left on Earth.
Seeing the drastic changes on Earth, Mother Nature decided to intervene. She approached Cloudy.
Mother Nature: Cloudy, what's wrong? Why aren't you doing your job?
Cloudy: Mama, I don't want to. I have been told to go away.
Mother Nature (in tears): Cloudy, please come back. My Earth is drying and dying without your help. I need you. We all need you back. You are my most important child. Without you, I can't survive.
And so, Cloudy decided to come back and unleash his droplets once again. The Earth rejoiced and its elements multiplied once again in the glory of rain. But later, Cloudy, heard a similar voice, "Rain rain, go away, come again another day. Little Krisha wants to play. Rain rain go away."
But Cloudy didn't mind this time. He realised his haters were going to be everywhere and his importance wasn't determined by them.
Moral of the story: Hate can be overcome. Hate can't be destroyed but it can be overcomed.
