The Watercolour Way

The assimilation of painting in my life has been an absurd one. Metaphorically, it could almost become a simile for my life. Never taught to embrace it in school and in one instance, discouraged from trying it, I latched on to the fear and embraced it wholeheartedly. It wasn't until many years later, more notably, 4 months ago, that the courage to try the harmless activity returned.

The painting you see above is, of course, the first attempt at watercolour painting.

I believe wholeheartedly in flowing with my inner energy which includes not pretending to be strong when I do not feel so. Truly brave people do not pretend to be strong. The timing to include it in any of my posts did not feel right during that time. However, things have changed. I believe I must try to flow the way watercolour paints flow on paper. I believe it is time to try the watercolour way.
